Since the eighties Streebal has conducted skill-training for girls/women: Tailoring and Embroidery, together with help for self-employed work, has been an ongoing activity from the start. In earlier years, Nursery Teachers' Training and Hobby courses were also conducted. In the late-nineties, Beauty Culture and Personality Development and Computer Training were started. Numbers have ranged between 100-200 and more girls a year trained in the different vocational training courses. Cumulatively, the figures amount to some 5,000 girls upskilled.
Now, STREEBAL in PartnerShip with NIIT Foundation, offers comprehensive computer literacy courses that cater to individuals of all ages. These courses cover the basics of computer usage, internet navigation, and essential software applications. Students are also helped with Placement Assistance by NIIT FOUNDATION.
